10' Crack Repair Kit With Removable Surface Seal

The Emecole Seal and Peel do-it-yourself kit also repairs 10' of crack by injecting urethane or "rubber" into the concrete wall. The difference is the surface preparation materials including the ports and surface seal can be removed after the crack injection has been finished. The seal and ports are stripped starting from the top and peeled off the wall in one motion including the ports. The benefit is the repair becomes almost invisible. It's great for walls and floors espeically if the home is going on the market in the near future.
The Seal and Peel Kit also only needs a standard caulk gun and will ship within one business day. 2-3 business days are the typical transit times.
10' Epoxy Kit
$211, Shipping included
Same as the 10' urethane kit but with 4 tubes of 121LV epoxy in place of urethane

The first reason and probably the biggest reason for purchasing your repair products from Emecole is because you will be provided with the best installation instructions in the industry. Not only are you provided with written instructions, but also with step-by-step guidelines on a CD. When we first began selling these kits we were not sure as to the degree of difficulty for novices. Today, because of all the positive feedback we have received, we can confidently recommend this kit to novices. The instructional video is comprehensive and provided the kind of advice to make the repair a smooth one.
Secondly, we manufacture our own chemicals. What this means is we package only the best urethanes and expoxies in our kits. What this means for the person using the kit is a high quality surface paste making attachment of the ports and closing of the crack a snap. It also means the products going in the wall will not fail due to shrinkage or failure to cure.

If you have a poured wall foundation with
a leaking crack(s), and the repair contractor you have
contacted does not recommend a crack injection repair
solution, click
here to locate a contractor or distributor in your area
and get a second opinion. To learn more as to why an
approach to foundation repair other than crack injection
is recommended (i.e a drain tile method) press
here .
A basement leaks because:
1. The foundation walls have cracks and there is sufficient
hydrostatic pressure in the surrounding ground to affect
leakage; and/or
2. The water table is exerting sufficient hydrostatic
pressure to leak through cracks in the basement slab
or the seam formed by the walls and the basement slab.
3. Sump System is non-existant or not working.
Basement crack repair in poured concrete
structures with epoxy and urethane injection has been
a successful common practice in foundation repair for
over 40 years. This practice has been extended to include
poured wall basement foundation repair, whether structural
in nature or just to repair a water- leaking crack.
In the past, concrete block had been the more common
material used in basement foundations. Basement leaks
could only be dealt with by incorporating some form
of an internal drain tile system or above the slab base-board
approach. These continue to be the best methods for
concrete block foundation repair.
Most parts of the country today are having
an increasing percentage of homes built on poured wall
foundations. In many of these areas, the local waterproofing
contractors still recommend basement crack repair using
the same methods they learned to use in concrete block
repair. In spite of what many waterproofing contractors
may say, crack injection does work and it involves less
intrusive methods to your basement and to your wallet
It is the best approach because crack
injection prevents water from passing through the cracked
wall and entering into the basement. Extra humidity
is prevented and there is little chance of mold and
mildew forming on the wall. It is the most economical
because this method of foundation repair costs only
hundreds of dollars.
Drainage tile repair of a poured wall
foundation involves diverting the water after it has
already entered the basement. Humidity increase, mold
and mildew are more likely to occur. The repair costs
thousands not hundreds of dollars and typically involves
breaking up the basement which could take days versus
two hours or less for the crack injection method. Drain
tile repair should only be the preferred approach when
the leak is coming from the seam of the poured wall
foundation or wet cracks in the slab (not the walls).
Furthermore, the water is being diverted to a sump pump
system which can fail, especially during an electrical
rain storm. This can result in significant flooding
in the basement.
Previous objections to the use of crack
injection in poured wall foundation repair typically
involved using methods more suited to the repair of
heavily leaking large cracks. These methods were originally
developed for the repair of leaking dams and other large
structures. They required the use of high pressure dispensing
equipment. Today, low pressure injection is a successful
approach to basement crack repair.
Another objection to injection crack repair
was the possibility that on-going movement could either
re-open the initial repaired crack (especially if the
cracked area had been acting as a control joint) or
re-crack immediately adjacent to the original repair.
This is a valid concern, and is something that occasionally
happens, but can be successfully addressed. Carbon fiber
can be applied across the repaired crack to reinforce
a wall section to prevent the effect of such potential
movement. This process is commonly referred to as carbon
fiber staple and is done at the same time
as the crack injection repair. It replaces the technique
of using steel-rebar for stitching and is simpler and
more effective. This approach only fails when the instability
actually requires more substantive approaches, such
as carbon fiber strapping and/or piering.
Determining whether excessive instability
exists requires a skilled and experienced applicator.

Testimonials
"Just thought I'd send you an email and say thank you. I was surprised at how well prepared the kit is. Normally, when you buy something off of the net, what you see is not what you get. Everything from the gloves to the wire brush was exactly what you showed on your site. The most impressive was the CD, very professionally done. I followed the instructions and everything went just like on the CD, very easy. I'll recommend you to anyone that needs help with a crack in their basement.
Thanks again,"

This past weekend I used
one of your residential kits (the 10' kit) to seal a
crack in my basement wall. Your instructions and simple
kit make it very east to make the repair. Excellent
kit! Keep up the good work!

Just wanted to pass along a note about your product.
I had a customer with a floor to ceiling basement wall
crack. I used your kit to seal the crack. After 9 inches
of rain in one day I found no water intrusion. I only
wish I had this about 9 years ago for my basement leak!!

Wow, what a great kit you've
put together. I'm so glad I researched and found your
website. The kit was very easy to use and put together
very well. The crack that needed to be repaired poured
15 gallons of water into my basement the week before.
I know its January, but we got a lot of rain here in
Ohio. Everything went as the video described. Thanks!
