EmeSeal System Installation

  1. Area is cleared of all old debris.
  2. Existing water problems (If any) are corrected.
  3. Radon gas dispersing drain fabric is placed over existing soil.
  4. Radon gas collection pipe and ventilation pipe are installed.
  5. Moldable roll adhesive is attached along top edge of foundation wall.
  6. Waterproof insulating blanket is placed over foundation wall and attached to moldable adhesive, providing an airtight seal.
  7. EmeSeal floor liner is rolled out over drain fabric and bonded together at all seams.
  8. All voids around pipes, sump pumps, floor supports, etc. are sealed.
  9. Optional: EmeCeiling heat shield is stapled to bottom of floor joist (foil side up).
  10. Final inspection of area is performed and crawlspace is ready for immediate use.
