Concrete Repair Dispensing Tools & Accessories

Emecole manufacturers a complete line of dispensing tools and accessories needed for low-pressure concrete crack injection and dispensing. Properly repairing concrete cracks is a necessary consideration in the basement waterproofing process. Such components accomodate our complete foundation crack repair line of epoxy resins and urethane foam injection products and surface sealers.

Basement seepage and leaking cracks should not be a lingering problem. Emecole's complete system for repairing foundation cracks in walls and slabs is efficient and economical for concrete repair contractors.

The following items below are necessary components to be used in repairing concrete cracks. These items are available for individual sale, and included in Emecole's various foundation crack repair kits. Emecole produces a variety of kits to accomodate the various type of cracks that contractors often encounter on the job. These kits are ideal for individuals new to concrete crack repair, as they are fully equipped with the needed components for repairing concrete cracks.

Concrete Crack Injection Dispensing Tool with Spring

"Jake" Manual Dispensing Tool

Controllable low-pressure force, spring-loaded for ease of injection of product. Designated for either 1:1 or 2:1 tube sets of epoxy or polyurethane. Available individually or with the Emecole foundation crack repair kits.

Jake Dispensing Gun Information

Concrete Crack Injection Tool

Manual Dispensing Tool

Precise dispensing control, no backflow, allowing for full effect of cross-over restrictors. Designated for 1:1 ratio tube sets.

Concrete Crack Injection Hose AssemblyInjection Hose Assemblies

Enhance the foundation crack repair process with the use of Emecole hose assemblies, with the "Jake" Manual Dispensing Tool. Injection hose assemblies serve as the link between cartridges and ports while controlling flow mechanism for the crack injection system. Allows for easy access to hard-to-reach surface ports.

Injection Hose Information

Concrete Crack Injection Surface Ports Surface and Corner Ports

The surface port opening is designed to link directly and lock into static mixers commonly used in low-pressure injection for foundation crack repair, including 3/16”, ¼” and ½ “diameter mixers (3/8” diameters mixers require and adaptor which is available). They link also with nozzles commonly associated with caulk tubes and Tech-Kits or Sem-Kits. This feature eliminates leakage at the injection point.

The Emecole surface port opening is compatible to a specially designed hose/tubing adapter, for applications where a hose/tubing assembly (compatible with all diameter static mixers, including 3/8” diameter), is desired to link to the injection port. The hose/tubing assembly can be used to control flow remotely from the dispensing tool. The hose assembly is also very useful to get to the ports around furnaces, sinks, hot-water heaters, beams, etc., commonly found in basements.

The Emecole surface port can also be modified to exhibit the feature of a one-way check valve. A metal ball can be inserted through the base opening, allowing material to flow through into the crack but preventing material from backing out through the port. This is especially useful when working on overhead cracks with epoxies, and with urethane foams on any concrete crack.

The base of the surface port features two slits which serve a dual purpose. The slits allow the surface seal material to better bond the port to the concrete surface by improving anchoring. The base can also be folded along the slits for ease of inserting ports in difficult to reach areas, such as corners. Emecole’s corner port counterpart is also available for this purpose. The corner port can also be converted to drill ports for low pressure injecting.

Concrete Crack Injection Low Profile PortsLow Profile Port

Emecole introduces the low profile modular injection port for the repair of concrete wall cracks. It consists of a base, very similar as found as part of our regular surface port. Its unique design makes it an indispensable injection accessory for both epoxies and polyurethanes. May be used in combination with both surface and corner ports, or used alone as a low profile port. Port can be easily capped after removing extension, leftover port is only 1/4" off the wall.

The differences are that the base is separate from the stem section of the port. The stem and base can be attached for the injection process, and then separated after the injection is complete. The base is then capped with a low profile cap.

The net result is that after the injection process is finished, there is typically no need to remove the ports from the wall in many situations as the port barely exceeds the thickness of the surface seal on the wall.

Another application of the stem is that it can be attached to our standard corner or surface port to result in an extension of the stem length of our standard ports when required.

Concrete Crack Injection Packers Injection Packers

Emecole mechanical packers lock into the drilled concrete hole by compressing the rubber sleeve surrounding the threaded brass body. Emecole packers reliably seal quickly and tightly at pressures of several thousand psi are recommended for single use only. Packers are effective even in weakened surfaces and can be used in concrete, Gunite, Shotcrete, and Shale. . Consider using Emecole Surface and Corner Ports for low-pressure concrete repair applications eliminating the disadvantages of drilling, clean up, uncontrolled foaming and higher cost for highpressure injection packers.

Properties:
- Standard zerc inlet
- High strength stem
- Spring-loaded ball check and anti return valve
- Flexible molded rubber sleeve
- Machined brass body
- Use with urethanes or epoxies

Available in the following sizes:
- 3/8” Diameter by 2.75”
- 3/8” Diameter by 5.9”
- 1/2” Diameter by 2.75”
- 1/2” Diameter by 5.9”
- 5/8” Diameter by 2.75”
- 5/8” Diameter by 5.9”

Injection packers are available in packages of 50, 100, and 1000.

Concrete Crack Injection Cross-Over Restrictors Cross-over Restrictors

The cross-over/back-flow restrictor eliminates contamination, metering and re-usage problems associated with dual cartridge dispensing when using dual cartridges without a tongue to separate the two streams as they come out of the cartridges. Without the tongue, material from one cartridge can easily flow into the adjacent cartridge rather than fully progressing through the static mixers.

This is referred to as cross-over and commonly occurs at the beginning of dispensing and can continue until the pressures are equalized on both cartridges. A barrier or “tongue” is common in automated dispensing equipment but not in dual cartridges.

The cross-over/back-flow restrictor can be placed over the “D shaped openings in the neck of dual cartridges to introduce a “tongue” to the system. In addition, the restrictor introduces one-way flaps over these cartridge openings. These flaps open when pressure is exerted on the cartridges but resist material from flowing back into the cartridges (either from the adjacent cartridge or the static mixers). This is known as back-flow.

Both cross-over and back-flow contaminate the materials in the cartridges and can lead to improper rationing and premature curing in the cartridges. The latter, in turn, leads to incomplete and possible improper use of products. This also prevents re-using a partially used cartridge set.

The cross-over/back-flow restrictor is an effective and economical adaptor optimizing the usage and performance of dual cartridges and dual cartridges dispensing for foundation crack repair.

Concrete Crack Injection Metal Balls Metal Balls

Allows injection resin to flow through into foundation cracks while preventing it from backing out; especially useful for overhead concrete repair injections.

Modify surface and corner ports to become one-way check valves by inserting a metal ball through the base opening. This feature allows the crack injection resin to flow through into foundation cracks, while preventing it from backing out.

Concrete Crack Injection Static Mixers Static Mixers

Mixes the crack repair formulated product while minimizes injection problems associated with unreacted polymers.

Available in various sizes to accurately mix plural component epoxies, resins, and polyurethane foams. Using the proper mixer minimizes injection problems for foundation crack repair associated with unreacted polymers.

Concrete Crack Injection Static Mixer Nuts Static Mixer Nuts

Plastic nut used for attaching the static mixer to the dispensing cartridge; 9 pitch and 14 pitch.
